Thank you Gear Up!
Strother 7th and 8th graders received calculators from GEAR UP this month! We are excited about our partnership with the TRiO GEAR UP program for our students in the 2030 and 2031 graduating classes. GEAR UP visits our students on campus weekly, has donated 110 calculators to be used in our classrooms, and has sponsored multiple field trips for this group of students this past calendar year.

Our 8th graders just finished reading the book The Outsiders so naturally we had to take them to see the museum for the movie adaptation! This trip was sponsored by our GEAR UP partnership program. Thank you to @theoutsidershousemuseum for an entertaining and educational tour.
Strother juniors and seniors interested in OSU IT were able to tour their Okmulgee campus during their Fall Preview Day. All programs offered at OSU IT were on display with hands-on activities and program students and professors available for questions.
