Notice to Former Special Education Students: Records Pickup Opportunity

In accordance with the Oklahoma State Department of Education Special Education Policies and Procedures, Strother Public Schools is providing an opportunity for former students who received special education services to obtain their special education records before they are scheduled for destruction.

If you graduated, exited, or aged out of special education services during or before the 2018–2019 school year, you may request and pick up your records. These records may be useful for future educational, vocational, or personal purposes.

All eligible records must be picked up by August 31, 2025. After this date, the records will be permanently destroyed in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

A valid photo ID is required for pickup. Records can only be released to the former student or their legal guardian, unless written consent is provided.
